Donegal County Council as the Contracting Authority, in partnership with the Office of Public Works (OPW) are progressing the development of a Flood Relief Scheme (FRS) for Glenties based on technical, social, environmental and economic considerations. 

The proposed Flood Relief Scheme for Glenties is at an early stage and Donegal County Council in conjunction with the recently appointed engineering and environmental team at RPS are keen to incorporate the views and knowledge of the local community and all interested parties who may a have an interest in the scheme.

How to engage with the Consultation:

  1. Review the Opening Consultation Brochure located under “Materials” to the right/bottom of the screen.
  2. Complete the attached Online Questionnaire located on the right of the screen under “References.” Once clicked this will redirect the user to a Microsoft Forms Questionnaire, in which responses will automatically be sent to a Glenties FRS specific email address. (Alternatively, you can contact the Glenties FRS team at Glentiesfrs@rpsgroup.com to receive a pdf version of the questionnaire).

What Happens Next:

All comments received in response to this Public Consultation will be considered and they will be taken into account in the preparation of Stage 1 (Scheme Development and Design) of the Glenties Flood Relief Scheme.
